Youth Ministry

What Does It Involve: Serving in the youth ministry as a mentor and role model in walking out life with Jesus. This will be shown through participation in youth nights (generally Thursdays), events, and retreats with the larger group. Youth leaders will be assigned to a single gender age group (consisting of 1-3 grade levels), ideally alongside a co-leader, that will be their small group. These groups are meant to be a youth leader’s circle of influence and the focal point of discipleship, mentoring, and prayer, helping build strong relationships with Jesus, each other, and the wider youth group.
Expectations: During and outside of youth ministry activities, youth leaders are encouraged to connect with youth as a way of showing their commitment to a strong relationship and unity within the Body of Christ. As a youth leadership team, we partner with God in prayer, work together organizationally, and support each other.
All Youth Ministry volunteers are required to complete safety screening and a Child Abuse Registry Check.
